Bollinger Bands Modified (Stormer)This strategy is based and shown by trader and investor Alexandre Wolwacz "Stormer".
Overview
The strategy uses two indicators Bollinger Bands and EMA (optional for EMA).
Calculates Bollinger Bands, EMA, highest high, and lowest low values based on the input parameters, evaluating the conditions to determine potential long and short entry signals.
The conditions include checks for crossovers and crossunders of the price with the upper and lower Bollinger Bands, as well as the position of the price relative to the EMA.
The script also incorporates the option to add an inside bar pattern check for additional information.
Entry Position
Long Position:
Price cross over the superior band of bollinger bands.
The EMA is used to add support for trend analysis, it is an optional input, when used, it checks if price is above EMA.
Short Position:
Price cross under the inferior band of bollinger bands.
The EMA is used to add support for trend analysis, it is an optional input, when used, it checks if price is under EMA.
Risk Management
Stop Loss:
The stop loss is calculated based on the input highest high (for short position) and lowest low (for long position).
It gets the length based on the input from the last candles to set which is the highest high and which is the lowest low.
Take Profit:
According to the author, the profit target should be at least 1:1.6 the risk, so to have the strategy mathematically positive.
The profit target is configured input, can be increased or decreased.
It calculates the take profit based on the price of the stop loss with the profit target input.

6 — Safety Orders (DCA): The indicator supports the use of safety orders (Dollar Cost Averaging) to help manage risks. Users can set the number of safety orders, price deviation, step scale, and volume scale.
7 — Backtest Settings: Traders can define the start and end periods for backtesting their strategy. This feature allows them to analyze the performance of their strategy within specific timeframes.
8 — Alerts: The indicator provides the option to create alerts for entry, exit, stop loss, take profit, and safety orders. Users can customize the alert messages using placeholders for dynamic values like price, symbol, and order size.
VWAP Breakout Strategy (Momentum, Vol, VWAP, RSI, TrSL)General Description and Unique Features of this Script
Introducing the VWAP Breakout Trading Algorithm for TradingView – the timeless strategy designed to identify the highest probability entries and trades for all financial securities and timeframes.
Unlike other strategies, the VWAP Breakout Strategy considers the buying/selling pressure in the market and supply/demand balance to generate real-time trading signals. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is used as a technical measure to capture typical breakouts from consolidation periods and pullback entries.
With flexible backtesting options, traders can improve parameter settings depending on their time horizon and the type of financial securities being used. Plus, this pro-version of the VWAP Breakout Strategy offers stop-loss, take-profit, and trailing stop-loss exit strategies for better risk management.
The VWAP Breakout Strategy combines a number of technical indicators, the Moving Average (MA), the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) and the RSI-qualifier to identify potential trend reversals and entry/exit points in the market. The VWAP Breakout Strategy can be used in conjunction with other technical indicators and fundamental analysis to make more informed trading decisions.
To further optimize trading results, this strategy generates trading signals based on real-time price action, rather than relying on the close / open of candles.
The VWAP Breakout Strategy
One important qualifier for generating buy signals is that the stock or other financial security is not in a short-term overbought status (for long-positions), or in a short-term oversold status (for short-positions), respectively.
Additionally, the stock or other financial security needs to go through a consolidation period before buy signals are being generated.
The RSI-indicator is being used as a technical measure in this strategy for that.
• Using moderate parameters for the RSI-qualifier (oversold-level 40 or higher, overbought level 60 or lower) will capture more typical breakouts from consolidation periods.
• Using more extreme parameters for the RSI-qualifier (oversold-level 35 or lower, overbought level 65 or higher) will capture the so-called pullback entries.
Long Entries
When the selling pressure is over and the continuation of the uptrend can be confirmed by the MA / VWAP crossover after reaching a price low, a buy signal is issued by this strategy.
Short Entries
When the byuing pressure is over and the continuation of the downtrend can be confirmed by the MA / VWAP crossover after reaching a price high, a sell signal is issued by this strategy.
Timeless Strategy
The underlying principles of this strategy are based on the buying- / selling pressure in the market as well as the supply and demand balance. The buying / selling volumes are being considered for the generation of trading signals. These sophisticated market principles make this strategy timeless which means it can be applied to 1min-charts, weekly charts as well as anything between those.
Generation of Trading Signals
Real-time process are considered for this pro-version of the VWAP Breakout Strategy. This is another benefit versus many other strategies which only consider the close or open of the canldes for trading signals:
Exit Strategies
This pro-version offers the following exit strategies:
• Stop-Loss
• Take-Profit
• Trailing Stop-Loss
The trailing SL functionality provides another benefit versus most other trading strategies resulting in significantly backtesting- and real-time trading results.
Trades will also be closed when an opposite trading signal is being generated (only applicable for combined long/short strategies).
Flexible Backtesting Option
The strategy offers fully flexible backtesting options to improve the parameter setting strategy, depending on time horizon and type of financial securities being used.
Relative Strength Index (RSI)
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a technical indicator developed by Welles Wilder in 1978. The RSI is used to perform a market value analysis and identify the strength of a trend as well as overbought and oversold conditions. The indicator is calculated on a scale from 0 to 100 and shows how much an asset has risen or fallen relative to its own price in recent periods.
The RSI is calculated as the ratio of average profits to average losses over a certain period of time. A high value of the RSI indicates an overbought situation, while a low value indicates an oversold situation. Typically, a value > 70 is considered an overbought threshold and a value < 30 is considered an oversold threshold. A value above 70 signals that a single value may be overvalued and a decrease in price is likely , while a value below 30 signals that a single value may be undervalued and an increase in price is likely.
For example, let's say you're watching a stock XYZ. After a prolonged falling movement, the RSI value of this stock has fallen to 26. This means that the stock is oversold and that it is time for a potential recovery. Therefore, a trader might decide to buy this stock in the hope that it will rise again soon.
The MA / VWAP Crossover Trading Strategy
This strategy combines two popular technical indicators: the Moving Average (MA) and the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP). The MA VWAP crossover strategy is used to identify potential trend reversals and entry/exit points in the market.
The VWAP is calculated by taking the average price of an asset for a given period, weighted by the volume traded at each price level. The MA, on the other hand, is calculated by taking the average price of an asset over a specified number of periods. When the MA crosses above the VWAP, it suggests that buying pressure is increasing, and it may be a good time to enter a long position. When the MA crosses below the VWAP, it suggests that selling pressure is increasing, and it may be a good time to exit a long position or enter a short position.
Traders typically use the MA VWAP crossover strategy in conjunction with other technical indicators and fundamental analysis to make more informed trading decisions. As with any trading strategy, it is important to carefully consider the risks and potential rewards before making any trades.
This strategy is applicable to all timeframes and the relevant parameters for the underlying indicators (RSI and MA/VWAP) can be adjusted and optimized as needed.
Backtesting Results
Backtesting gives outstanding results on all timeframes and drawdowns can be reduced to a minimum level. In this example, the hourly chart for MCFT has been used.
Settings for backtesting are:
- Period from April 2020 until April 2021 (1 yr)
- Starting capital 100k USD
- Position size = 25% of equity
- 0.01% commission = USD 2.50.- per Trade
- Slippage = 2 ticks
Other comments
• This strategy has been designed to identify the most promising, highest probability entries and trades for each stock or other financial security.
• The RSI qualifier is highly selective and filters out the most promising swing-trading entries. As a result, you will normally only find a low number of trades for each stock or other financial security per year in case you apply this strategy for the daily charts. Shorter timeframes will result in a higher number of trades / year.
• As a result, traders need to apply this strategy for a full watchlist rather than just one financial security.
Advanced VWAP_Pullback Strategy_Trend-Template QualifierGeneral Description and Unique Features of this Script
Introducing the Advanced VWAP Momentum-Pullback Strategy (long-only) that offers several unique features:
1. Our script/strategy utilizes Mark Minervini's Trend-Template as a qualifier for identifying stocks and other financial securities in confirmed uptrends. Mark Minervini, a 2x US Investment Champion, developed the Trend-Template, which covers eight different and independent characteristics that can be adjusted and optimized in this trend-following strategy to ensure the best results. The strategy will only trigger buy-signals in case the optimized qualifiers are being met.
2. Our strategy is based on the supply/demand balance in the market, making it timeless and effective across all timeframes. Whether you are day trading using 1- or 5-min charts or swing-trading using daily charts, this strategy can be applied and works very well.
3. We have also integrated technical indicators such as the RSI and the MA / VWAP crossover into this strategy to identify low-risk pullback entries in the context of confirmed uptrends. By doing so, the risk profile of this strategy and drawdowns are being reduced to an absolute minimum.
Minervini’s Trend-Template and the ‘Stage-Analysis’ of the Markets
This strategy is a so-called 'long-only' strategy. This means that we only take long positions, short positions are not considered.
The best market environment for such strategies are periods of stable upward trends in the so-called stage 2 - uptrend.
In stable upward trends, we increase our market exposure and risk.
In sideways markets and downward trends or bear markets, we reduce our exposure very quickly or go 100% to cash and wait for the markets to recover and improve. This allows us to avoid major losses and drawdowns.
This simple rule gives us a significant advantage over most undisciplined traders and amateurs!
'The Trend is your Friend'. This is a very old but true quote.
What's behind it???
• 98% of stocks made their biggest gains in a Phase 2 upward trend.
• If a stock is in a stable uptrend, this is evidence that larger institutions are buying the stock sustainably.
• By focusing on stocks that are in a stable uptrend, the chances of profit are significantly increased.
• In a stable uptrend, investors know exactly what to expect from further price developments. This makes it possible to locate low-risk entry points.
The goal is not to buy at the lowest price – the goal is to buy at the right price!
Each stock goes through the same maturity cycle – it starts at stage 1 and ends at stage 4
Stage 1 – Neglect Phase – Consolidation
Stage 2 – Progressive Phase – Accumulation
Stage 3 – Topping Phase – Distribution
Stage 4 – Downtrend – Capitulation
This strategy focuses on identifying stocks in confirmed stage 2 uptrends. This in itself gives us an advantage over long-term investors and less professional traders.
By focusing on stocks in a stage 2 uptrend, we avoid losses in downtrends (stage 4) or less profitable consolidation phases (stages 1 and 3). We are fully invested and put our money to work for us, and we are fully invested when stocks are in their stage 2 uptrends.
But how can we use technical chart analysis to find stocks that are in a stable stage 2 uptrend?
Mark Minervini has developed the so-called 'trend template' for this purpose. This is an essential part of our JS-TechTrading pullback strategy. For our watchlists, only those individual values that meet the tough requirements of Minervini's trend template are eligible.
The Trend Template
• 200d MA increasing over a period of at least 1 month, better 4-5 months or longer
• 150d MA above 200d MA
• 50d MA above 150d MA and 200d MA
• Course above 50d MA, 150d MA and 200d MA
• Ideally, the 50d MA is increasing over at least 1 month
• Price at least 25% above the 52w low
• Price within 25% of 52w high
• High relative strength according to IBD.
NOTE: In this basic version of the script, the Trend-Template has to be used as a separate indicator on TradingView (Public Trend-Template indicators are available in TradingView – community scripts). It is recommended to only execute buy signals in case the stock or financial security is in a stage 2 uptrend, which means that the criteria of the trend-template are fulfilled.
This strategy can be applied to all timeframes from 5 min to daily.
The VWAP Momentum-Pullback Strategy
For the JS-TechTrading VWAP Momentum-Pullback Strategy, only stocks and other financial instruments that meet the selected criteria of Mark Minervini's trend template are recommended for algorithmic trading with this startegy.
A further prerequisite for generating a buy signals is that the individual value is in a short-term oversold state (RSI).
When the selling pressure is over and the continuation of the uptrend can be confirmed by the MA / VWAP crossover after reaching a price low, a buy signal is issued by this strategy.
Stop-loss limits and profit targets can be set variably. You also have the option to make use of the trailing stop exit strategy.
Backtesting
Backtesting gives outstanding results on all timeframes and drawdowns can be reduced to a minimum level. In this example, the hourly chart for MCFT has been used.
Settings for backtesting are:
- Period from Jan 2020 until March 2023
- Starting capital 100k USD
- Position size = 25% of equity
- 0.01% commission = USD 2.50.- per Trade
- Slippage = 2 ticks
Other comments
- This strategy has been designed to identify the most promising, highest probability entries and trades for each stock or other financial security.
- The combination of the Trend-Template and the RSI qualifiers results in a highly selective strategy which only considers the most promising swing-trading entries. As a result, you will normally only find a low number of trades for each stock or other financial security per year in case you apply this strategy for the daily charts. Shorter timeframes will result in a higher number of trades / year.
- Consequently, traders need to apply this strategy for a full watchlist rather than just one financial security.
[SPOILED]SteadyScalpyHi Traders,
This is my testing strategy which implemented Trading View's trailing stop loss feature. This strategy mainly focus on ETH/USDT perp contract15 minutes timeframe, backtest capital is set to 1000 USDT, 10% equity, 0.04% commission, limited backtest date from Jan 2022 to now, result as shown below. I have faith in this strategy, but still please use only a small amount of money to test, like 5-10% of your total capital.
The strategy contains a couple modules, entry module, trend filter module, take profit, and stop loss module.
How to use:
Stoch RSI:
5 MA types were provided which is HMA / VWMA / WMA / EMA / SMA , HMA with Length setting of 5, 8 seems to be most efficient. VWMA and WMA with 8, 13 will generate less entry signals but with less entry risks.
Price Step:
This is the core feature of this strategy and it is based on Demark9 and price action. With Step 1&2 enabled, it will generate more entry signals. signals can be filtered by trend magic. if disable this option, Stoch RSI will be the only entry signal left in this strategy.
Trend Magic:
Trend Magic uses CCI and ATR to calculate trend status; green means uptrend, red means downtrend, pretty straight forward; the best value for this indicator would be, 21, 34, 55, 89. Only long allow when trend magic turns green and vice versa.
Take Profit and Stop Loss:
The default value for TP is set to 0.4%. Once the price hits 0.4%, it begins trailing; once the price drawdown 0.01%, it will close trade. The orange line indicates the ATR trailing take profit; once 'close' crosses ATR, it will exit the trade immediately. I also added a failsafe as a final stop loss, when price movement exceeds threshold (default 1%), it will exit trade no matter what.
Enjoy :)
Trend #4 - ATR+EMA channelOverview:
This strategy use ATR to take-profit, Red-EMA to stop-loss, Blue-EMA channel to judgment breakout.
This strategy use commission setting is 0.05%, slippage setting is 2 ticks, you can set the appropriate value size in the properties page.
What it does:
This strategy detects when a trend is emerging and buy or sell.
How it does it:
When the price breaks through the blue EMA channel, the trend is judged to be strong in the short term, strategy generates a buy or sell order.
After buying or selling,, if the price moves in the expected direction, uses ATR to determine the appropriate spread to take profit, otherwise use red EMA for stop loss.
How to use it:
Start Date and Stop Date - This parameter adjusts the time range used by the strategy.
Stoploss - This parameter adjusts the stop loss amount after each order is placed.
Blue EMA length - This parameter adjusts the length of the channel.
Blue EMA multy - This parameter adjusts the width of the top and bottom of the channel.
ATR Period - This parameter adjusts the number of candles used by the ATR.
ATR mult - This parameter adjusts the upper and lower widths of the ATR. Lowering this parameter can improve the win rate, but not necessarily the profitability.
Red EMA length - This parameter adjusts the number of candles used by the red EMA .
Long - This switch is used to turn Long position on or off.
Short - This switch is used to turn short position on or off.

Longbithello Traders !
Inspired by the indicator Range Filter Buy and Sell 5min by guikroth , namely calculation and works price movement range filter .
And Inspired by the indicator by the indicator VuManChu Cipher B + Divergences by vumanchu namely calculation and working out divergences and convergences , i was inspired to create a strategy .
This is indicator - strategy - ( Longbit ) - aggregate and my modification indicators : Range Filter Buy and Sell 5min by guikroth , VuManChu Cipher B + Divergences by vumanchu , and diferent exponential moving average .
The strategy - ( Longbit ) works on the basis of the price movement range filter , first a smooth average price range is calculated for the basis of the filter and multiplied by a specified amount by indicator Range Filter Buy and Sell 5min by guikroth , and some calculations working out divergences and convergences by indicator VuManChu Cipher B + Divergences by vumanchu . And diferent exponential moving averages for zones Bull / Bear trend for trend trading , and using take and diferent stop loss : algo , user or percentage .
Thus, using my strategy, we get the best entry point to open trades after confirming divergences
example in the picture
or
And when these trend signals are much stronger
example in the picture
Actual Version recommended used for BTCUSDC / BTCUSDT 4 hours time frame and used default settings and stop loss - algo , take profit 6 %
example in the picture
But it can also be used on all time frame with these settings: MaxMin3 Data Sampling period 6 Range Multiplier 2 and Take profit 2.3 % , stop loss algo

Привет, Трейдеры ! Вдохновленный индикатором Range Filter Buy and Sell 5min by guikroth , а именно работой и вычеслением диапазона фильтра движения цены . А также вдохновленный индикатором VuManChu Cipher B + Divergences by vumanchu, а именно дивергенций и конвергенций , я был вдохновлен создать эту стратегию
Эта тратегия - (Longbit) - это совокупность индикаторов : Range Filter Buy and Sell 5min by guikroth , VuManChu Cipher B + Divergences by vumanchu, и разние виды экспоненциальных средних .
Стратегия - (Longbit) работает на основе фильтра диапазона изменения цен, сначала рассчитывается гладкий средней диапазон цен для базы фильтра и умножается на оговоренную сумму по индикатору Range Filter Buy and Sell 5min by guikroth модифицированой версии , а также некоторые расчеты вычислений дивергенций и конвергенции по показателю индикатора VuManChu Cipher B+ Divergences by vumanchu.

Short Swing Bearish MACD Cross (By Coinrule)This strategy is oriented towards shorting during downside moves, whilst ensuring the asset is trading in a higher timeframe downtrend, and exiting after further downside.
This script can work well on coins you are planning to hodl for long-term and works especially well whilst using an automated bot that can execute your trades for you. It allows you to hedge your investment by allocating a % of your coins to trade with, whilst not risking your entire holding. This mitigates unrealised losses from hodling as it provides additional cash from the profits made. You can then choose to hodl this cash, or use it to reinvest when the market reaches attractive buying levels. Alternatively, you can use this when trading contracts on futures markets where there is no need to already own the underlying asset prior to shorting it.
ENTRY
This script utilises the MACD indicator accompanied by the Exponential Moving Average (EMA) 450 to enter trades. The MACD is a trend following momentum indicator and provides identification of short-term trend direction. In this variation it utilises the 11-period as the fast and 26-period as the slow length EMAs, with signal smoothing set at 9.
The EMA 450 is used as additional confirmation to prevent the script from shorting when price is above this long-term moving average. Once price is above the EMA 450 the script will not open any shorts - preventing the rule from attempting to short uptrends. Due to this, this strategy is ideal for setting and forgetting.
The script will enter trades based on two conditions:
1) When the MACD signals a bearish cross. This occurs when the EMA 11 crosses below the EMA 26 within the MACD signalling the start of a potential downtrend.
2) Price has closed below the EMA 450. Price closing below this long-term EMA signals that the asset is in a sustained downtrend. Price breaking above this could indicate a bullish strength in which shorting would not be profitable.
EXIT
This script utilises a set take-profit and stop-loss from the entry of the trade. The take profit is set at 8% and the stop loss of 4%, providing a risk reward ratio of 2. This indicates the script will be profitable if it has a win ratio greater than 33%.
Take-Profit Exit: -8% price decrease from entry price.
OR
Stop-Loss Exit: +4% price increase from entry price.
Based on backtesting results across a selection of assets, the 45-minute and 1-hour timeframes are the best for this strategy.
The strategy assumes each order is using 30% of the available coins to make the results more realistic and to simulate you only ran this strategy on 30% of your holdings. A trading fee of 0.1% is also taken into account and is aligned to the base fee applied on Binance.
The backtesting data was recorded from December 1st 2021, just as the market was beginning its downtrend. We therefore recommend analysing the market conditions prior to utilising this strategy as it operates best on weak coins during downtrends and bearish conditions, however the EMA 450 condition should mitigate entries during bullish market conditions.
Optimised RSI strategy for Reversals (by Coinrule)The most common way to use the RSI to spot a good buy opportunity is to check for values lower than 30. Unfortunately, the RSI can remain in oversold territory for long periods, and that could leave you trapped in a trade in loss. It would be appropriate to wait for a confirmation of the trend reversal.
In the example above I use a short-term Moving Average (in this case, the MA9) coupled with an RSI lower than 40. This combination of events is relatively rare as reversal confirmations usually come when RSI values are already higher. As unusual as this setup is, it provides buy-opportunities with much higher chances of success.
The parameters of this strategy would be:
ENTRY: RSI lower than 40 and MA9 lower than the price
TAKE PROFIT and STOP-LOSS with a ratio of at least 2. That means that if you set up a take profit of 3%, your stop-loss shouldn’t be larger than 1.5%.
The advantage of this approach is that it has a high rate of success and allows you the flexibility of setting up the percentages of the take profit and stop-loss according to your preferences and risk appetite.

//Description of this addon - Script using several new conditions to give Long/short and SL levels which was not proposed in the Big Snapper strategy "Big Snapper Alerts R3.0"
//"
//This strategy is based on the use of the Big Snapper outputs from the JustUncleL script and the addition of several conditions to define filtered conditions selecting signal synchrones with a trend and a rise of the volatility.
//Also the strategy proposes to define proportional stop losses and dynamic Take profit using an RSI strategy.
// After delivering the temporary ong/short signal and ploting a green or purple signal, several conditions are defined to consider a Signal is Long or short.
//Let s take the long signal as example(this is the same process with the opposite values for a short).
//step 1 - Long Definition:
// Snapper long signal stored in the buffer variable Longbuffer to say that in a close future, we could have all conditions for a long
// Now we need some conditions to combine with it:
//the second one is to be over the Ma_medium(55)
//and because this is not selective enough, the third one is a Volatility indicator "Chaikin Volatility" indicator giving an indication about the volatility of the price compared to the 10 last values
// -> Using the volatility indicator gives the possibility to increase the potential rise if the volatility is higher compared to the last periods.
//With these 3 signals, we get a robust indication about a potential long signal which is then stored in the variable "Longe"
//Now we have a long signal and can give a long signal with its Stop Loss
// The Long Signal is automatically given as the 3 conditions above are satisfied.
// The Stop loss is a function of the last Candle sizes giving a stop below the 70% of the overall candle which can be assimilated to a Fibonacci level. Below this level it makes sense to stop the trade as the chance to recover the complete Candle is more than 60%
//Now we are in an open Long and can use all the mentioned Stop loss condition but still need a Take Profit condition
//The take profit condition is based on a RSI strategy consisting in taking profit as soon as the RSI come back from the overbought area (which is here defined as a rsi over 70) and reaching the 63.5 level to trigger the Take Profit
//This TP condition is only active when Long is active and when an entry value as been defined.
//Entry and SL level appreas as soon as a Long or short arrow signal does appears. The Take profit will be conidtioned to the RSI.
//The final step in the cycle is a reinitialization of all the values giving the possibility to detect and treat any long new signal coming from the Big Snapper signal.
iCryptoScalperHi everyone!
In this post I would like to present my personal indicator for short-term strategies on cryptocurrencies called iCryptoScalper , but let me first introduce myself:
I am a theoretical physicist with a deep passion for trading and mathematical modelling of the financial markets.
I started trading cryptocurrencies more than 4 years ago and, throughout this period, I got more and more involved in trying to describe the mechanisms governing
the price action at lower timeframes like 1, 5 and 15 minutes.
As a beginner, I started with the usual "buy and hold" strategy, the safest but also boring option. Afterthat, I tried to get more involved on speed trading
and scalping and, as it happens to all the beginners, I went through many mistakes.
At the beginning, trying to find the best scalping strategy, was a very difficult task and I barely managed to perform well, mostly because every trade were overwhelmed
by my emotional approach and the fear of missing the right entry point and/or exit point. However, thanks to these difficulties, I understood that I needed
an algorithmic procedure to improve my performances and overtake the emotional approach, with a more technical approach: a mathematical guide that precisely tells me how to behave in the best way possible to be profitable.
To achieve this goal, I put all my efforts in trying to write a consistent mathematical model able to give me all the statistical informations I needed to reach
the best performances and, of course, the best possible profits.
The iCryptoScalper is an explicit mathematical tool to be used for scalping strategies and optimized for different cryptocurrency pairs on 15/30 min timeframes.
The script gives you many useful informations and details regarding the current and subsequent trade, accompanied with a detailed overview on both the last 20 short
and long trade results.
Let us have a look to all the detailed informations the script shows to you:
CHART
- Lines: The script plots for you the Entry price (yellow line), the Stop Loss price (red line) and a series of 8 Take Profit levels (green lines).
- Background: The green background color indicates that the script is in a long position, viceversa, the red background color indicates that the script is in a short position.
- Labels: The blue labels indicate the maximum achieved profit for each trade.
- Alerts: The script shows two types of alerts, the "prepare to #" one and the true entry one. The prepare alert is very useful to understand when the strategy is going
to enter a specific trade, thus giving you the possibility to set up all the necessary Entry/SL/TP levels on your favorite trading platform.
- Crosses: The green and red crosses are precisely located at the corresponding long and short entry price for the next trade, thus giving you a preview on the target price
that has to be reached for the indicator to enter. They are computed thanks to a mathematical model I set up and optimized for each cryptocurrency pair.
PANEL
- Overview: This part shows you two probability tables for the last 20 long and short trades each. The first table indicates the set of probabilities of reaching the corresponding TP level, whereas the second table shows the conditional probability , namely the probability of reaching a certain profit level once the previous one has been achieved.
Below the tables you can find three quantities again referring to the last 20 long and short trades: the Average Maximum Profit , the Average Maximum Drawdown and the Average Risk/Reward Ratio .
Last but not least, the correlation between the current asset and BTC is displayed together with the current BTC status.
- Active Trade: This part collects all the data related to the current trade status.
- Next Trade: This part collects all the data related to the next trade status.
ATTENTION!
Please notice that the equity line you see in the "Strategy Tester" section of TradingView is unreliable compared to the real performances of the script. This is due to the
fact that the TradingView engine is designed for backtesting automatic trading strategies and not real-time trading bots.
An example is the following: Bob buys 1 BTC-PERP contract at 10000$, setting the Stop Loss at 9000$. The price of the perpetual then goes to 12000$ and then go back hitting the Stop Loss. For the TradingView Engine this is a
trade with a permanent loss of 1000$. However, for the iCryptoScalper users, the trade is perfectly fine thanks to the numerous TP levels (and corresponding probabilities) given by the script within the trade window.
Octopus_AlgoGram_IndicatorHello traders!
I have been developing Octopus trading indicator over the last year. This algorithm indicator is based on a set of different strategies, each with its own weight (weighted strategy). The set of strategies that I currently use are 5:
Volume
ADX
MA crossover
Macd
Chaikin Oscillator
Moreover, this indicator includes STOP losses criteria and a taking profit strategy. this indicator must be optimized for the desired asset to achieves its full potential.
Best Time-Frame :
The 10 & 23 Minutes Time frame give good results. The algo has been tested for several asset (same dataframe, different optimization values).
When to Buy & Sell :
Buy Entry & Exit : Take entry when Green Arrow or Buy Trigger on screen & Exit when Purple Arrow or exit trigger on screen
Sell Exit & Exit : Take entry when Red Arrow or Sell Trigger on screen & Exit when Purple Arrow or exit trigger on screen
Important note:
Backtest the algorithm with different data stamps to avoid overfitting results
How it works:
The algorithm is based on a combination of well-documented indicators. First, the algorithm calculated the weight_strategy, which represents a value from 0 to 5 of the number of strategies that are fulfilled (in case the weight of each strategy is the same). To open a position, the value of weight_strategy must be greater than the value of weight_signal, by default 2. Modify the indicator parameters for the desired asset and data frame. Set stop-loss and take profit criteria.
Features:
* The algorithm allows to trade with long, short or both positions.
* Backtest the algorithm over a defined interval (data stamp), e.g., from 2022
* stop loss (SL) orders based on movement of the previous candle source, e.g., close or candle volatility . Only close the position after the candle is close!
* It can moves the stop loss when this indicator takes profit (TP)
* Take profit based on market movement and once all condition true they push exit order
* Define delays to evaluate the strategies of more previous candles:
+ Candle delay Exit is the number of candles the algorithm waits to open a new position.
* Choose if you want to use the weighted strategy or just some of them.
* Choose the weight (relevance) of each strategy.
* Customize the well documented MA cross strategy.

3 Candle Strike StretegyMainly developed for AMEX:SPY trading on 1 min chart. But feel free to try on other tickers.
Basic idea of this strategy is to look for 3 candle reversal pattern within trending market structure. The 3 candle reversal pattern consist of 3 consecutive bullish or bearish candles,
followed by an engulfing candle in the opposite direction. This pattern usually signals a reversal of short term trend. This strategy also uses multiple moving averages to filter long or short
entries. ie. if the 21 smoothed moving average is above the 50, only look for long (bullish) entries, and vise versa. There is option change these moving average periods to suit your needs.
I also choose to use Linear Regression to determine whether the market is ranging or trending. It seems the 3 candle pattern is more successful under trending market. Hence I use it as a filter.
There is also an option to combine this strategy with moving average crossovers. The idea is to look for 3 candle pattern right after a fast moving average crosses over a slow moving average.
By default , 21 and 50 smoothed moving averages are used. This gives additional entry opportunities and also provides better results.
This strategy aims for 1:3 risk to reward ratio. Stop losses are calculated using the closest low or high values for long or short entries, respectively, with an offset using a percentage of
the daily ATR value. This allows some price fluctuation without being stopped out prematurely. Price target is calculated by multiplying the difference between the entry price and the stop loss
by a factor of 3. When price target is reach, this strategy will set stop loss at the price target and wait for exit condition to maximize potential profit.
This strategy will exit an order if an opposing 3 candle pattern is detected, this could happen before stop loss or price target is reached, and may also happen after price target is reached.
*Note that this strategy is designed for same day SPY option scalping. I haven't determined an easy way to calculate the # of contracts to represent the equivalent option values. Plus the option
prices varies greatly depending on which strike and expiry that may suits your trading style. Therefore, please be mindful of the net profit shown. By default, each entry is approximately equal
to buying 10 of same day or 1 day expiry call or puts at strike $1 - $2 OTM. This strategy will close all open trades at 3:45pm EST on Mon, Wed, and Fri.
**Note that this strategy also takes into account of extended market data.
***Note pyramiding is set to 2 by default, so it allows for multiple entries on the way towards price target.
Remember that market conditions are always changing. This strategy was only able to be back-tested using 1 month of data. This strategy may not work the next month. Please keep that in mind.
Also, I take no credit for any of the indicators used as part of this strategy.
Enjoy~
Supertrend StrategyThis Supertrend strategy will allow you to enter a long or short from a supertrend trend change. Both ATR period and ATR multiplier are adjustable. If you check off "Change ATR Calculation Method" it will base the calculation off the sma and give you slightly different results, which may work better depending on the asset. Be sure to enter slippage and commission into the properties to give you realistic results.
I've also built in backtesting date ranges and the ability to trade only within certain times of day and have it close all trades at the end of that time frame. This is especially useful for day trading stocks. If you check off "Enter First Trade ASAP" then when using the time frame option it will enter the current trade. If however you uncheck that box and instead check off "Wait To Enter First Trade" it will wait for the trend to change and then enter.
You can also specify a % based take profit and stop loss. In most cases the stop loss is not needed because of the atr based stop that supertrend provides so you could check only take profit and see if it works best to take profit or to let supertrend trend change get you out. Also keep in mind that if you have "Enter First Trade ASAP" checked off and use the stop loss and/or take profit then it will re-enter the current trend again.
Finally there's custom alert fields so you can send custom alert messages for strategy entry and exit for use with automated trading services. Simply enter your messages in the fields within the strategy properties and then put {{strategy.order.alert_message}} in your alert message body and it will dynamically pull in the appropriate message.
M8 BUY @ END OF DAYI've read a couple of times at a couple of different places that most of the move in the market happens after hours, meaning during non-standard trading hours.
After-market and pre-market hours and have seen data presented showing that systems which bought just before end normal market hours and sold the next morning had really amazing resutls.
But when testing those I found the results to be quite poor compared to the pretty graphs I saw, and after much tweaking and trying different ideas I gave up on the idea until I recently decided to try a new position management system.
The System
Buys at the end of the trading day before the close
Sells the next morning at the open IF THE CLOSE OF THE CURRENT BAR IS HIGHER THAN THE ENTRY PRICE
When the current price is not higher, the system will keep the position open until it EITHER gets stops out or closes on profit <<< this is WHY it has the high win %
The system has a high win ratio because it will keep that one position open until it either reaches profit or stops out
This "system" of waiting, and keeping the trade open, actually turned out to be a fantastic way to kind of put the complete trading strategy in a kind of limbo mode. It either waits for market failure or for a profit.
I don't really care about win % at all, almost always high win % ratio systems are just nonsense. What I look for is a PF -- profit factor of 1.5 or above, and a relatively smooth equity curve. -- This has both.
The Stop Loss setting is set @ .95, meaning a 5% stop loss. The Red Line on the chart is the stop loss line.
There is no set profit target -- it simply takes what the market gives.
Non-Repainting System
This does use a 200D Simple Moving Average as a filter. Like a Green Light / Red Light traffic light, the system will only trade long when the price is above its 200 Moving average.
Here is the code: "F1 = close > sma(security(syminfo.tickerid, "D", close ), MarketFilterLen) // HIGH OF OLD DATA -- SO NO REPAINTING"
I use "close ", so that's data from two days ago, it's fixed, confirmed, non-repainting data from the higher timeframe.
-- I would only suggest using this on direction tickers like SPY, QQQ, SSO, TQQQ, market sectors with additional filters in place.
Scalper Helper System===========================================================================
===========================================================================
Description
===========================================================================
===========================================================================
Scalper Helper System combines a series of trade strategies which have been learned and honed in the Jim of All Trades channel.
Paixy has contributed candlestick combination rules, Jonas has shared his deep understanding of Stochastic.
Jim himself has taught clearly on the merits of RSI.
This system attempts to formulate all the notes and rules I have made over the past months.
The system searches for 10 - 15 rules which are divided into bullets and bombs. Bombs relate to momentum, so these signals may not be pinpoint accurate, but they are more often leading to bigger moves.
This initial version is released mainly only to the JOAT community to help continue the development of the idea and to help find
continued improvements.
Special thanks to FiendishFeather for his strategy work, (check out his work to learn how to apply any trading strategy to his back testing harness), and the date filtering snippet and the tip to show this option at the top.
===========================================================================
===========================================================================
The strategy decisions are based on the following general rules:
===========================================================================
===========================================================================
BULLETs are hint to the idea of firing a small sized position into the market, BOMBs are hints to go all in - however this does not mean proper risk management should be forgotten.
Without risk management this and any strategy will lead to failure.
Without risk management this and any strategy will lead to failure.
Without risk management this and any strategy will lead to failure.
Without risk management this and any strategy will lead to failure.
===========================================================================
Bullet1 uses the value of the stochastic and checks for buy/sell cross over on 5m, 8m and 13m chart.
These values should be calculated on a ratio basis ideally.
Bullet2 measures divergence between the printed Stochastic signals.
Bullet3 has been decommissioned.
Bullet4 is an RSI divergence and value indicator.
Bullet5 has been decommissioned.
Bullet6 uses the history of the stochastic buy and sell signals
Bullet7 uses the Scalper Helper Trends for entries by attempting to see how the overall trend is changing. More refinement is needed here.
Bullet8 uses the Scalper Helper Trends on multiple timeframes for entries.
Bullet9 strict buy/sell signals from Stochastic RSI
Bomb1 relies on the Fast, Medium and Slow MA's being correctly lined up as well as the Stochastic, this hints at a more imminent move and so the strategy suggests a quicker entry.
Bomb2 relies on the Fast, Medium and Slow MA's NOT being correctly lined up as well as the Stochastic, and therefore has the luxury of suggesting Limit orders near the local high/low.
Bomb3 looks for two or more Stochastics signals in the same direction and then performs a divergence calculation.
Bomb4 looks a change in the Stochastics signals direction and then performs a divergence calculation.
===========================================================================
===========================================================================
Configuration settings:
===========================================================================
===========================================================================
Users can chose to show mainly buy and/or sell signals and can select a level of strictness. Enabling strict rules will force a multi timeframe comparison of Stochastic analysis.
Users can try different levels for long and short targets for profit and stop loss. This is important because the market does not behave the same going up as it does going down.
The RSI conditional check makes the strategy more selective. This discernment can be applied to bullets or bombs in order to validate entry and exits.
During the bull run and perhaps even in ranging markets, the RSI overbought levels is usually 70-80, but in the bear market we are seeing in Crypto now, a value of 60 is more useful. Try for yourself to see what works for you and feedback in the comments.
An additional indicator, Scalper Helper Trends is recommended to get a quick view on the trend condition (rally, base, down) by viewing the MACD from multiple time frames. Further research is required to know which larger timeframes work best here.
For the 15min chart, 15m, 30m, 45m, 60m, 120m, 240m, 360m, 960m would work well. Note it is not possible to go higher than 1000 at this time.
Whether you use the Scalper Helper trends or not for your own visual confirmation, it is possible to allow this indicator to attempt to read it for you. More research is required to best model the reading of this. For now, it will simply measure the gradient of the number of up versus down colors.
The system can also find entries off the Scalper Helper Trends - but really this, by design is not the best use of Scalper Helper Trends. Although you may prove me wrong so the option is given for you to find buy/sells with your own testing.
Users can chose to use some engulfing candle arrangements to trigger exits and define the length of the 200MA and decide if this should play a part in the filtering of the signals. Similarly, a check can be made to ensure that the first two candles after a signal are behaving as we would expect with the "Wait for 2 closing in the direction of the signal" option. This has a lot of value on the 1min chart.
When Revenge trade is set to true you may re-enter a trade in the same direction as the last one when the last one was stopped out, otherwise you would only be looking for trades in the other direction. We all should not revenge trade, and indeed I have only seen a few cases when it has increased the profitability, however this option remains for now.
The flip opens a new trade in the reverse direction when a signal is given to close a trade, but does not apply to scenarios where stop losses or take profit closed the trade.
Ultimate Strategy TemplateHello Traders
As most of you know, I'm a member of the PineCoders community and I sometimes take freelance pine coding jobs for TradingView users.
Off the top of my head, users often want to:
- convert an indicator into a strategy, so as to get the backtesting statistics from TradingView
- add alerts to their indicator/strategy
- develop a generic strategy template which can be plugged into (almost) any indicator
My gift for the community today is my Ultimate Strategy Template
Step 1: Create your connector
Adapt your indicator with only 2 lines of code and then connect it to this strategy template.
For doing so:
1) Find in your indicator where are the conditions printing the long/buy and short/sell signals.
2) Create an additional plot as below
I'm giving an example with a Two moving averages cross.
Please replicate the same methodology for your indicator wether it's a MACD, ZigZag, Pivots, higher-highs, lower-lows or whatever indicator with clear buy and sell conditions
//@version=4
study(title='Moving Average Cross', shorttitle='Moving Average Cross', overlay=true, precision=6, max_labels_count=500, max_lines_count=500)
type_ma1 = input(title="MA1 type", defval="SMA", options= )
length_ma1 = input(10, title = " MA1 length", type=input.integer)
type_ma2 = input(title="MA2 type", defval="SMA", options= )
length_ma2 = input(100, title = " MA2 length", type=input.integer)
// MA
f_ma(smoothing, src, length) =>
iff(smoothing == "RMA", rma(src, length),
iff(smoothing == "SMA", sma(src, length),
iff(smoothing == "EMA", ema(src, length), src)))
MA1 = f_ma(type_ma1, close, length_ma1)
MA2 = f_ma(type_ma2, close, length_ma2)
// buy and sell conditions
buy = crossover(MA1, MA2)
sell = crossunder(MA1, MA2)
plot(MA1, color=color_ma1, title="Plot MA1", linewidth=3)
plot(MA2, color=color_ma2, title="Plot MA2", linewidth=3)
plotshape(buy, title='LONG SIGNAL', style=shape.circle, location=location.belowbar, color=color_ma1, size=size.normal)
plotshape(sell, title='SHORT SIGNAL', style=shape.circle, location=location.abovebar, color=color_ma2, size=size.normal)
/////////////////////////// SIGNAL FOR STRATEGY /////////////////////////
Signal = buy ? 1 : sell ? -1 : 0
plot(Signal, title="🔌Connector🔌", transp=100)
Basically, I identified my buy, sell conditions in the code and added this at the bottom of my indicator code
Signal = buy ? 1 : sell ? -1 : 0
plot(Signal, title="🔌Connector🔌", transp=100)
Important Notes
🔥 The Strategy Template expects the value to be exactly 1 for the bullish signal , and -1 for the bearish signal
Now you can connect your indicator to the Strategy Template using the method below or that one
Step 2: Connect the connector
1) Add your updated indicator to a TradingView chart
2) Add the Strategy Template as well to the SAME chart
3) Open the Strategy Template settings and in the Data Source field select your 🔌Connector🔌 (which comes from your indicator)
From then, you should start seeing the signals and plenty of other stuff on your chart
🔥 Note that whenever you'll update your indicator values, the strategy statistics and visual on your chart will update in real-time
Settings
- Color Candles : Color the candles based on the trade state (bullish, bearish, neutral)

Alerts
Maybe you didn't know it but alerts are available on strategy scripts.
I added them in this template - that's cool because:
- if you don't know how to code, now you can connect your indicator and get alerts
- you have now a cool template showing you how to create alerts for strategy scripts
Source: www.tradingview.com
I hope you'll like it, use it, optimize it and most importantly....make some optimizations to your indicators thanks to this Strategy template
Special Thanks
Special thanks to @JosKodify as I borrowed a few risk management snippets from his website: kodify.net
Additional features
I thought of plenty of extra filters that I'll add later on this week on this strategy template

BKN: Thick Cut StrategyThick Cut is the juiciest BKN yet. This indicator is created to take a profitable trading strategy and turn it into an automated system. We've built in several pieces that professional traders use every day and turned it into an algo that produces on timeframes as low as 1, 3, and 5 minutes!
Limit Order Entries: When criteria is met, an alert is signaled that will send a value to enter a position at a limit price.
Built in Stop Loss: A stop is built in and the value can be sent to your bot using the {{plot}} function or you can rely on a TradingView alert when the stop is hit.
Built in Take Profits: We've built in two separate take profits and the ability to move your stop loss to breakeven after the first take profit is hit. Even if you take 50% profit at 1R and move your stop loss, you already have a profitable trade. Test results show 50% profits at 2R and the remainder at higher returns result in exceptional results.
Position Sizing: We've built in a position size based on your own predetermined risk. Want to risk $100 per trade? Great, put in 100 in the inputs and reference a quantity of {{plot("Position Size")}} in your alert to send a position size to the bot. You can also reference {{plot("Partial Close")}} to pull 50% of the position size closing 50% at TP1 and 50% at TP2.
Backtest results shown are very short term since we are viewing a 15m chart. This can be a profitable strategy on many timeframes, but lower timeframes will maximize results.
A unique script with incredible results. Further forward testing is live.
